La Maison du Pont Romain

My husband and I were looking for accommodations near the Le Mans museum. We feel so fortunate to have discovered Madame Paris’s lovely chambres d’hotes. We had a light-filled spacious room overlooking the old bridge and river. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well in the peace and quiet. The grounds were full of April flowers, including lilacs - such a treat. Be sure to book dinner prepared by Madame. One of our best meals during our entire holiday, served with a bottle of excellent local wine. Breakfast was equally delicious and generous. We would return in a heartbeat!

We stayed one night en route to Roscoff from the Rhone Alp Region We were delighted with our comfortable room overlooking the river and particularly pleased to have a fridge available .As we had been travelling all day it was such a treat to have a delicious meal at La Maison du Pont Romain without having to go in search of a restaurant. We requested this in advance. Good precautions were taken in this difficult time of the Corona pandemic and we felt very safe.

My wife and I were delighted by the welcome and and the room which was very cosy, comfortable, quiet and with a nice view on the old bridge. Moreover we took dinner at her place and it was a marvel: a dinning room like in a château, delicious home made meal served with a top noch service. Geat experience and we greatly recommend this person and the place.

This was our second visit to Chantal Paris' delightful chambre d'hote - we received a warm welcome and had a lovely peaceful two days. Two delicious evening meals, good advice on visiting Le Mans and especially on where to park for free. The view from our window over the Pont Romain was just as delightful as two years' ago. We will surely return for a third time!
