- You’re in Italy - July and August bring heat and mosquitos so prepare!
The hospitality, despite being self catering, here is wonderful, it's like being
surrounded by a long lost Italian family if you want it to be, the hosts are
friendly and relaxed, the trullo is comfortable and has everything you need
plus the outside space; the pool, the paved and play area means you can
make the most of the good weather months either side of the sizzling July
and August.

Trullo Giardino is a beautiful place to stay. Certainly no misnomer, the garden - and surrounding orchard of peach, plum, apricot and fig trees - is quite extraordinary. It's a remarkably peaceful place but only 10 minutes drive, mainly down country lanes, to lovely Cisternino (take a satnav!!). Michele and Mimma are lovely hosts - friendly, generous (with fruit, wine, a homemade tart, a lift to the supermarket, a loan of their Sky Sports card to watch the Euros!) yet unobtrusive. Pool is great and gazebo fabulous for shade and evening barbecues. Recommend wholeheartedly.
