The Boathouse

Turning the corner at the bottom of a steep narrow hill, we were amazed at this Property. Situated right on the water, the Boathouse should be renamed 'The Dreamhouse' ! It had everything that a holidaymaker could ask for. Plenty of rooms, bright and airy, spotlessly clean throughout. A big kitchen for cooking and dining and just fabulous views of the water. The rainy evenings were spent in the Games Room having fun. It was a truly wonderful experience and I so miss waking up to the gentle sound of the sea.

How could you possibly sum up The Boathouse in a just few words - a magical place. The setting is beautiful, the sea metres away which even in February was calm. We travelled down with some friends and family for a special 40th birthday and the layout worked perfectly for 3 generations. The communal spaces were stylish and comfortable and the views from the living accommodation were second to none. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and item we could have needed. We had an amazing stay and we miss the tranquility and calm already.

The Boathouse is a wonderful house in a stunning situation. It is beautifully furnished and exceptionally well-equipped . Excellent housekeeping. It was utter bliss sitting on the terrace, listening to the waves and watching the comings and goings in the creek and the sea beyond. Highly recommended.

The Boathouse is a beautiful house in a stunning location. Accommodation extremely comfortable and a great first floor terrace with extensive views of the creek and sea beyond and equipped to a high standard. Good access to several great dining locations and pubs. It would be a hard act to better.

Our third stay in this wonderful house. Great location and a very well appointed house. All elements of our stay have been a joy. We love the outdoors, so next to the sea, on the South West Coastal Path is ideal. Great pubs and restaurants nearby. We will be back.

Simply Heaven on Earth! The Boat House is wonderful. It’s position on the beach is unrivalled and we cannot wait to return. The house is beautifully kept and has everything you could need for an amazing holiday.

The boathouse is the most beautiful property nestled away with its own beach. Homely and comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly need. Our family stayed for a very important birthday and couldn't have had a better time. The only way I can describe this property is that it is incredibly special!! Will definitely return.

The Boathouse is an absolute delight and a joy to return to such a luxurious well appointed and cared for property after a day spent sightseeing at The Lizard or Falmouth maybe, both within easy reach - or visiting local villages and secluded coves. The location is on the coastal path and the scenery can soon become beautifully rugged, inland the villages, like Helford, are just a treat to the eye, nestled on the banks of the river ! With the sound of waves lapping on the shoreline and views to die for, this is truly a gem of a property in a location to die for !

Just to say thank you and let you know that we had the most wonderful weekend in your fabulous house! What an amazing place and so beautifully decorated and kitted out, you had thought of everything. The children especially loved being so close to the water and spent ages in their kayaks just messing about, it really was magical. In fact, we all loved our stay so much I wondered whether it might be possible to book for the same weekend next year?

What a lovely week we’ve had at the boathouse . Also the weather was fantastic and we were able to use our boat . The boathouse is fabulous, you’ve thought of everything. One little thing my husband noticed the waste pipe outside the kitchen has separated and is allowing water to go into side garden. Hopefully we can stay with you again later.

I loved The Boathouse on Flushing Cove with its little beach and views out to sea providing the setting for a perfect holiday. The beautifully furnished and equipped family home can equally suit those wanting a cosy couples escape or a large group of 14 and anything in between.Walkers, sailors, wildlife watchers and escapists can just relax and while away the hours here... sublime!

Just returned from a fabulous week in the Boathouse with family/ friends. What a great place to stay. Directly on the waters edge with great views out over the bay we had so much to see & do just outside the front door. We followed the coastal paths in both directions, walked out around the headlands at low tide & walked across to the other side of the creek without getting our feet wet. Lots of places within easy distance - Lands End, Lizard, Minack Theatre. Accommodation was great - very well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge with wood burner and very comfortable bedrooms. Highly recommended.

We had a fab time thank you. You have a beautiful home and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Only complaint that it wasn’t long enough. Leonie and Neil cooked us an amazing meal on Saturday and we all dressed up appropriately. Thanks for the recommendation. Thanks once again for sharing your house with us.
