Frizenham Farmhouse B&B

We had a lovely two-night stay at Frizenham Farmhouse. Our double room was light, spacious and tastefully furnished, with a really comfortable bed, and sparkling clean en-suite bathroom with a fabulous shower. Breakfast in the conservatory was delicious, especially the home-grown fruit and eggs from the farm. And nothing was too much trouble – Clare shared suggestions for eating out, walks, drives and even provided a beautiful bouquet of hand-picked flowers from the garden for us to take to family we were visiting. We would definitely recommend this B&B!

We had a 3 night stay with dinner each evening. We found Frizenham farmhouse very comfortable and a relaxing place to stay. Clare was most welcoming and obliging. Our room was spacious and the shower room was of a high quality with good hand and body wash ( made with natural ingredients) Tea was good in the fine bone China cups . Clare is an excellent cook and we were so glad to enjoy dinner each evening with fresh produce from the garden, good quality chicken, fish and a vegetarian meal, & pudding. RHS garden nearby too. Highly recommend this b&b.

We were warmly welcomed by Clare. Our room was beautifully clean and airy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Delicious breakfasts with fresh fruit and eggs. We also took advantage of eating dinner in on two evenings; with home grown and freshly picked produce - a total treat. RHS Rosemoor is very close and the Tarka Trail - perfect for hiring bikes and cycling in the shade (or walking)! Would definitely recommend.

This is not your traditional B&B but we had a great stay. The breakfast of ‘Eggs’ was delicious. This was due to the fact that the eggs were fresh from the chickens in the garden. If you want a cooked English breakfast, you just need to ask and pay an extra £5. We had three evening meals and they were all delicious. The ingredients were locally sourced and veg and fruit was from the garden. We dined in the conservatory which was lovely and used the lounge to relax after dinner. The rooms are not serviced during your stay, if you ask I’m sure Clare would accommodate.
