Susie and Martin were friendly, kind and generous hosts and we have never felt more welcome at a holiday place. They were very helpful with advice about the anrea and what to do. Oak Barn itself was very attractive as well as being clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It is in an absolutely beautiful and tranquil spot, and the upside of having to drive down lanes to get there is that the only noise is the wind in the trees, the birds, and the whinnying of horses in the field next door. I hope we will be back again before long.

We enjoyed a fabulous week at Wooden Cabbage. From the moment you turn down the driveway, you are greeted with amazing views of the Dorset countryside. The accommodation is tastefully furnished and contains everything you’ll need for your stay. Lovely to relax in the beautiful garden in the evening and enjoy some of the produce which Susie and Martyn kindly provided. We had a very warm and friendly welcome from the owners who gave us plenty of information about places to visit and restaurant recommendations. They were both helpful without being intrusive.

Oak Barn at Wooden Cottage is a place of real relaxation, so peaceful, with a wonderful garden and a superb outlook. Our hosts are welcoming and genial and generous in sharing produce. We would recommend a stay at any time.

There's plenty of room and Oak Barn is well equipped and tastefully furnished. Quality and thoughtfulness are Martyn and Susie's watchwords here; they are friendly and helpful hosts.
