- Chesil Beach is safe for swimming only when the sea is calm
It was lovely to drive to the Short House, along the historic ancient Labour
in Vain lane, looking down across the fields to the sea to the horizon. The
countryside and walks surrounding are breath-taking. A lovely place to
unwind and relax. A place where it is almost like going back in time to old
Dorset.

V pleasant cottage in an excellent location, close to Chesil Beach. Comfortable, nicely decorated and kitted out. Decent WiFi. Good for the dog too - plenty of running room and no long lists of restrictions.
