The
Experience
A pretty Victorian, terraced Fulham home, inside all is charming and spacious. In a tiny, sun-trapping courtyard you can have continental breakfast in good weather – tropical fruits are a favourite and the coffee is very good; a second miniature garden bursts with life at the back. The bedroom, up a wide spiral staircase, is nicely private on the second floor. Expect perfectly ironed sheets on a comfy bed, a big sofa, TV and books, a sunny bathroom and fluffy white towels. The tennis at Queen’s is in June and on your doorstep. Tim and Margot – she’s from Melbourne – are fun, friendly and happy to pick you up from the nearest tube.

We have been going to Margot and Tim’s for a number of years and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone travelling to London. It is just so convenient for central London, the museums , Wimbledon, theatres, and so on. And they are such relaxed and welcoming people that you are immediately made to feel at home. Definitely our first choice when we go up to the city.

Friendly and welcoming hosts, I was made to feel very much at home; they booked me a taxi and lent me a clock. I was made to feel very much at home, and would stay with them again if there was ever a free space!
