Brewers Cottage

We were a group of 6 (3 family-related couples) staying for the weekend at Brewers Cottage. David and Rosie were delightful, helpful hosts. They provided us with a warm welcome and an extremely comfortable stay. We booked to have an evening meal there on our first night. Our chosen dishes were all superb; five stars for presentation, quality and taste. We ate out the following evening at a ‘Good Food Guide’ recommended restaurant in the area - all 6 of us agreed that the previous evening’s meal at Brewers Cottage was far superior. Thank-you David and Rosie, a very special house and garden.

We had a wonderful stay at Brewers Cottage; the hosts are lovely and the setting is beautiful. We stayed in the annexe which is self-contained with its own patio and a spacious wet room. David and Rosie are so welcoming and cooked us a delicious hearty breakfast. We’ll definitely be back!

The weather was not very summer like, , but we can’t hold our very pleasant hosts responsible for that!. David and Rosie have a very special knack of being there when you want them for advice but know exactly when you want to be alone. David is also a SPECTACULAR COOK. You would go a long way to find a better meal in most restaurants. All in all, a very highly recommendable B&B

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at Brewer's Cottage. The bedroom was comfortable, the garden lovely and there is so much to see in this area. What we were most impressed by was David's food. We had dinner in the house both evenings and it was superb. Three exquisite courses of sheer delight. David takes a pride in sourcing wonderful ingredients and performs magic with them.
