The Experience

There’s a glamorous look to this mellow stone hideaway for two, with a mix of contemporary and antique furniture, funky artworks, pretty plants and a lovely courtyard garden. It’s light, bright and easy to be in, even on cooler days when you can snuggle in with the radio on and play a game of chess or backgammon. Walkers will be out all day tackling 19 miles of glorious countryside on the East Mendip Way – or even further to the west.

A thoughtful kitchen has oodles of kit, a proper coffee machine and organised recycling. You’ll find basics for cooking plus a French wicker basket full of local treats, including freshly-baked sourdough from Frome and butter and milk from Bruton Dairy. Chunky stairs will take you to a very well-dressed bed and an immaculately tiled shower room with Faith in Nature soaps and shampoo.

On summer evenings you’ll be outdoors sipping something delicious on comfortable seats while the barbecue fires up.

David, Chester

We had a perfect stay at Coco’s Barn. It’s a lovely space looking into a gorgeous patio. The barn has a very comfy bed and sofa, lush linens and towels and everything you could need in the kitchen. Geri and Kevin were perfect hosts too. Would highly recommend staying here.

Claire, London

The cottage was wonderful, stylishly decorated and very comfortable. Was a wonderful location. The essentials of groceries was very kind and thoughtful. The host was available, but we found all the information we needed in the welcome pack. Will definitely be back.

David, Upminster

Such an idyllic spot. Beautiful space for a romantic getaway. The owners were helpful and answered all our questions. The decor was beautifully done, both stylish and modern whilst in keeping with our gorgeous country surroundings

Polly, Dubai

Excellent stay at Coco's Barn. Beautifully furnished and finished with living space looking out on a beautiful garden. Very quiet and peaceful area, but within walking distance of two excellent eateries/pub. And great location for exploring Somerset. Geri made us very welcome providing excellent information to support our stay and make us comfortable.

Peter, London

This beautifully designed barn is perfect for those who want to enjoy the carefully considered space as well as explore all the local area has to offer. Enjoy unpacking the gorgeous welcome hamper of locally sourced treats as you relax and truly unwind in the tranquil location.
