A very comfortable stay in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Sasha was most hospitable, and she served very delicious breakfast each morning.

Sasha is a considerate and generous host who made us most welcome in her beautiful old house in the Suffolk countryside. Offering us afternoon tea on arrival, we were treated to home-made cake made with Sasha’s own marmalade. Breakfasts were cooked using locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality, and were delicious. They set us up for the day. Sasha shared her knowledge of the locality and Suffolk more widely to guide us to places of interest and great food for dinner. Friends of ours told us all about the Crown House B&B. They said it was lovely. They said the breakfast was unequalled and the hostess Sasha not only a sweet person but extremely helpful and competent and caring. They said the rooms were comfy and cosy and the beds luxurious and in the evenings Sasha would light a fire and you could sit there and talk about all the things you experienced during the day, of course, she was giving hints and tips and directions. They said you will not regret it. We didn't, we enjoyed every single moment. So what can I add?Our friends were right!

Lovely room in a lovely house hosted by a very friendly, accommodating host who gave us plenty of information/tips about the area and local restaurants/ pubs. Excellent breakfast. A really enjoyable stay.

This part of rural Suffolk is to be treasured. It is in the deepest, greenest part of the countryside, yet on the edge of the romantic Sandlings forests and heathland and just a few minutes' drive from the most glorious stretch of the Suffolk coast. Life is deliberately leisured and to be enjoyed.

Rarely has Mr Sawday recommended such a remarkable establishment as the Crown House with its quirky architecture and eccentric hostess, who is liable to burst into song with barely a moments notice and a dog named Cornelius. Once ensconced beneath the ancient beams the hurly-burly of the 21st-century is but a distant memory. The relaxed pace of life is never more evident than at breakfast time when, having put the world to rights one is fortunate to hit the open road before noon. You will leave having experienced the best of English hospitality

Sasha is delightful, the room was delightful, the house and garden are delightful, as are the dogs, the area. . . All in all delightful. Thank you Sasha!

As always it's been a fantastic stay (it's our 4th time!) We loved The Garden Room and felt very safe and comfy here. Breakfast was also, as always, fantastic. Thanks so much for a lovely week!

Beautiful old country home, and a wonderful country house welcome. Lovely host Sasha (and her chummy dogs) greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, with our comfort and enjoyment her prime concern. She quickly got to know what we liked to eat and to do, and was unstinting in her efforts to please. The breakfasts are magnificent and if we had stayed for dinner, I'm sure that would have been just as delicious. Regarding the current Covid concerns, Sasha was spot-on with the arrangements necessary and frequently checked that we were happy with these.

A sumptuous bed followed by a scrumptious breakfast, everything that you ever wanted from a splendid Sawday's B&B. Sasha is a natural host, her mission is clear - to make your stay as comfortable as possible and she succeeds. I enthusiastically recommend Crown House (and the surrounding countryside isn't bad either!).

A unique and very comfortable, beautifully appointed bed and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Sasha and her breakfast was superb. Ideally situated if you are visiting The Maltings for a concert (as we were). We are planning to return for a longer stay in order to explore the lovely area.

The house is undeniably Suffolk-perfect and has been beautifully done up to the highest standards of faultlessness. Among all that glittered, our breakfast sparkled with brilliance. Sasha is a character, passionate about music and getting B&B dead right.
