The Experience
With 14 acres of orchard, meadow and woodland to explore, you’d be forgiven for not wanting to leave this lovely spot. Two connected buildings (brick barn meets wood-clad) are full of considered touches, including a double-sided wood-burner dividing the Douglas Fir-panelled sitting room and the snug, and floor-to-ceiling windows framing green views wherever you turn.
After a day out, fire up the pizza oven – the thoughtful owners have left everything you need to get started – then sink into the wood-fired hot tub under the stars. Five bedrooms dressed in crisp linens on seriously good mattresses await, including a ground-floor king with windows on three sides and its own hammam.
Underlining it all is a real commitment to the land: reclaimed materials throughout, a ground-source heat pump, solar panels, and a wildflower meadow managed for bees and butterflies. Soak up those good vibes.

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the house was beautiful. The large windows throughout mean you can admire the scenery from various seats in the house. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms functioned very well and the laundry room came in handy. We were staying at a time when the weather was 22-25C outside and the bedrooms felt very warm at night, even with a fan in the room. Would suggest summer linen/quilts for warmer weather weeks. Overall a great house and helpful hosts.

What a stunning house!!! We stayed for my Dads 60th birthday and had the most amazing time. We had a private chef come in to cook for us and it just worked so well with the space. We also ate at the pub in Bramfield and the food was very nice. The beds were incredibly comfortable and rooms spacious. The hot tub was a very lovely touch too. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
