The Old Pottery

What a wonderful property and location! We spent 4 nights here over a long weekend at the end of September and felt very at home. The underfloor heating worked a treat to take the edge of the colder evenings and the bed was super comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. Such a pretty village and so quiet, a real contrast to city living. Can recommend as a base for exploring Suffolk and Essex; we loved Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Lavenham and Flatford. We hope to return - Sarah is a very thoughtful hostess and we enjoyed the fresh eggs and seeing the chickens!

Wake up and smell the roses and listen to the dawn chorus. There are scented roses everywhere here and the timber framed cottages wear them with grace. The accommodation at the Grange is perfectly lovely, Sarah and Chris have thought of everything and it's been a very relaxing holiday. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space in this unique part of Suffolk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Pottery. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. It was a cold week but the cottage was very cosy. Sarah was a good hostess, very friendly and welcoming, and accommodating about the start date. The village is very pretty, with a good dining pub, and it is well placed for seeing some very pretty parts of Suffolk. We would thoroughly recommend the property.
