The Experience
Secluded and quiet, this timber-clad shed sits at the foot of MacLeod’s Tables, with stunning views over Dunvegan loch – spot seals and soaring sea eagles, and if you’re extra silent you may be lucky enough to see a shy otter. Inside is contemporary and clean with big windows, tweed curtains, decent lighting, lots of books and a merry wood-burner for chilly days – although excellent wood cladding and underfloor heating will keep you warm, even in the cruellest weather.
Working in the kitchen with its stainless steel units will be a breeze and you’re left a welcome basket to get you started. Eat indoors by the big window with views, or outside when its balmy – you’ll find a barbecue and it stays light forever in summer.
This is pure romance, and the king-size bed with clouds of feathers topped with a Skye Weavers blanket, is tempting – but bring walking boots to earn your total collapse.

- Returning to your beautiful roost – lighting the wood-burner, opening some wine, cooking up a storm
