- Cooking superb fresh fish and shellfish outdoors in summer months - it stays light for ages and then when the night is clear you may even see the Milky Way
- Firing up the wood-burner, hunkering down with a good book, watching the drama unfold outdoors
You should know
- Mobile signal can be poor depending on your network but WiFi is excellent
- You can't walk to a restaurant or place to eat
- No pets please
Probably the best holiday home we’ve ever stayed in. We so much enjoyed our stay at the Lewis Longhouse. The house has a quality which we felt as soon as we arrived. It’s not one particular thing. It’s a combination of the light filled rooms, the big views whether calm or wild, the sound of silence, the warmth of the floors, the books and the maps, the comfy chairs and the space to stretch out or snuggle in.”
