Fancy House & Ty Coed

Fancy House & Ty Coed are our two favourite places to stay on Anglesey! We always try to stay in one of them for at least a week every year. Plas Ligwy is an ideal base from which to explore the island. There is so much to see! We have been going there for quite a few years now and there are still plenty of places we haven’t visited yet! Both cottages are well equipped and cosy and John is a perfect host!

Very nice accommodation. 10 minutes walk to Lligwy beach. Hopefully be back next year.

We stayed in Ty Coed over the Easter weekend and we were so fortunate with the amazing weather. The cottage was lovely to stay in and really felt like home away from home! ...Kitchen was well equipped with dishwasher/washing machine and and all the things you could think of!! Some lovely additions too including badminton rackets, wind breaker for beach. Table football and table tennis in the games room was brilliant! Location is excellent for exploring the island and close enough to walk to LLigwy beach! Peaceful and and away from any traffic noise. Hopefully we will be able to return...!

This was our 4th visit to the Fancy House and as always the cottage was perfect. Very cosy, comfortable and well equipped. In a beautiful, peaceful location with views of the sea and ancient village from the master bedroom. Short walk to a beautiful beach and coastal path. Jon the owner, is a perfect host, very friendly and always on hand in an unobtrusive way. Hope to return to Lligwy again soon.

This is a delightful cottage completely modernised with everything that you want and is ideally located. The owner is most helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Our family have used this property and the other properties available for many years and would recommend them without hesitation.
