This place is an utterly family friendly B&B. Parents can relax whilst their
children run free exploring the place and doing sport. The rooms are large
and airy and great value.

I stumbled on this wonderful chateau while my husband was in hospital in Bergerac. Stephane and Florence were so welcoming to this waif and stray sans mari and just as welcoming when said mari managed to escape from the Centre Hospitalier and join me at this oasis of calm and peace that is Chateau Gauthie. Breakfast was a feast and one night Stephane cooked supper for all the guests which was as delicious as it was fun. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are bikes for those who want to work off some of the extra pounds gained thanks to Stephane et Florence! A fabulous stay.
