Domaine de la Banne

We arrived at Domaine de la Banne on a very hot day to be greeted by Neil and David with a cool glass of wine. That set the way for what was to become the most wonderful weeks holiday. As a family of 5 (including our adult children and partner) this beautiful, clean, well-maintained and very spacious barn and Chamber d'hote was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun, as well as being really well placed to visit all the beautiful villages in the surrounding area. Great communication throughout, and extremely helpful. We could not recommend it highly enough.

Domaine de la Banne exceeded our expectations. The gîte was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The air-conditioned bedrooms were especially welcome during the summer heat, and the private pool was a fantastic bonus. Neil and David were exceptional hosts—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their hospitality made our holiday even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Domaine de la Banne to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay in the Dordogne. We would gladly return.

We recently spent a week at the le Domaine delivery la Banne in Sagelat at the foot on the medieval town of Belves. The property is exceptionally well located in a secluded spot with terrific views. The gite is presented to a very high standard just as it is represented in the marketing material. We stayed for a week and hired a car. The surrounding area has many attractions and activities. The fixings and furnishings are to the highest standard and the large outdoor pool and recreational area equally as impressive. During our stay, we visited local markets, chateaus, the belves night market

Domaine de la Banne was recommended to us by a good friend as THE place to stay in Sagelat. It did not disappoint. Large kitchen, dining area and living room. The kitchen was fully equipped (and I mean fully!) The bedrooms were larger than my flat in London. And my personal favorite was the shower...it was hard to take a short shower! My only regret is that we were there in December and did not have the opportunity to try to pools. If you like peace and quiet in the country with all of the amenities, you cannot go wrong with Domaine de la Banne
