The Experience
There are two spacious gîtes to choose from. The Magnolia has a roomy sitting room, dining and kitchen area downstairs and an upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The Chapel sits in its own corner of the huge garden and is very private. Bigger groups can take both together, add B&B rooms and use Magnolia as a group space.
Both spaces have use of the gardens and you’ll find lots of inviting places to sit and take it all in. Float in the sparkling swimming pool or retreat to the shade in the poolside summer room – a tranquil spot for chatting or reading.
Interiors are elegant and charming with beautiful furniture sourced from antique markets by owner Frédérique who has a good eye. You can visit her on-site shop and choose something to take home with you.

Wow! From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the how breathtaking Domaine de Pragelier is, from the serenity and calmness, attention to detail, sublime decor, to the warm welcome and most perfect hospitality from Mark and Frederique. Every morning we were greeted with a delicious homemade breakfast, a fabulous start to each day. We stayed in the Petronille, a perfect room to unwind and recharge within gorgeous peaceful surroundings and gardens with a serene pool, all so very special. A truly stunning home making a memorable stay. We can't wait to return!

We feel very lucky to have found Domaine de Pragelier on our first visit to the Dordogne. We stayed in the enchanting La Chapelle gîte nestled in a quiet corner of the gardens; it was peaceful, practical and beautifully styled with elegant, rustic charm. Opening the centuries-old door each morning to greet the cool morning air and summer light was quite literally heavenly. Our hosts, Frédérique & Mark were equally as wonderful - warm, friendly and enthusiastic to share their knowledge and love of the area and all it has to offer.

We have just returned from the most amazing stay at Domaine de Pragelier. The gite La Chapelle is a little piece of heaven on earth with its tucked away position! Beautifully & tastefully furnished! Frédérique & Mark are such helpful hosts, recommending places to visit & to eat. Hopefully we will be able to return! Sue & Keith Cockayne

Introducing
Mark & Frédérique
Having lived all over the world, Frédérique and Mark fell in love with the Dordogne region and bought this 18th-century property. Welcoming and outgoing, they’ve created a wonderful experience for guests and love sharing their home.
A stunning location in the unspoilt Dordogne countryside near a typical French village, which you can access via a walk the through nearby woods. The house is exquisitely and tastefully furnished, with a comfortable large bed and excellent shower and a lovely terrace overlooking the garden. Mark and Frederique are welcoming hosts and could not have been more helpful but were never intrusive. Breakfast was superb including freshly picked fruit salad and squeezed juice, bread and freshly baked scones and cakes. We highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon.
