The Experience
Settled into the gently rolling hills of Mauzens-et-Miremont, the farmhouse sits at the heart of a 300-year-old walnut farm. Refurbished with a Scandinavian lightness, the original beams and Dordogne stone remain, everything else feels bright and fresh.
Swedish Grace crockery in the armoire, Egyptian cotton on the super-king beds, White Company treats in the bathrooms — all the details are spot-on. Four double bedrooms have smart en suite bathrooms (three with baths). On cooler evenings snuggle into the enormous eight-seater sofa by the fire. If you want to work out, gym equipment (a rowing machine, yoga mats) is available on request.
The heated pool is a treat, as is the pool house with its lounging sofa and hanging chairs. There are pool toys and ping pong, too. In the kitchen, you’ll find all the bells and whistles, but if you don’t want to cook, the owners can rustle up fantastic mezes, served in their courtyard next door.

- The landscape around us offers lovely views of rolling hills, walnut trees and meadows filled with wild purple orchids. After the sun sets, the sky is filled with beautiful bright stars.
- We live in a pet paradise - all around us you'll find beautiful walking trails and barely any cars, perfect for long dog walks. Our garden is fully fenced, so that your furry friends can run around and play safely.
- Prior to your holiday we'll send you our welcome guide with information about great restaurants in the area, markets, activities and the extra services we provide at La Mouy.

Introducing
Helena Gunenc
Warm and welcoming, Helena and her husband Mutlu hail from Sweden and Turkey, respectively. After searching for many years to find the right property, these fantastic hosts found their piece of paradise in France. Having restored the farm buildings over several years, the pair have brilliantly blended elements of their heritage while honouring the history of the estate
