The Experience
Charlotte and Thierry welcome you to their new family project: a 17th-century house set in 40 acres of gardens with grass paths and wide views. Inside is filled with taste and passion: discover antiques, French and Italian painted furniture, bedrooms with hand carved four-poster beds, embroidered sheets and limewashed beams. Splash in the pool in summer, warm yourself by a big log fire on chilly days with tea and homemade cakes. Cooking is a passion so you’ll be well fed on the best local ingredients with vegetables and fruits from their garden. Charlotte offers arts and crafts courses.

We had a wonderful week staying here. Charlotte and Thierry are the most generous hosts - bringing strawberry jam (made by Charlotte the week before), delicious local cheese and bread when we arrived. The grounds are stunning with the smell of roses wafting across the well kept lawns. The pool is fantastic. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A beautiful place to stay with wonderful hosts – highly recommended! Charlotte and Thiery are incredibly kind and relaxed hosts who have an innate sense of good taste. They have put a lot of love and care into the decor of their home and guest quarters. Their vast property includes many beautiful flowers as well as delicious fruits and vegetables from their organic farm. My husband and I, along with my two older parents, stayed at the Manoir for nearly a week and it was perfect for relaxing as well as exploring the Dordogne region. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

We were recommended to stay at the beautiful Manoir home of Charlotte and Thierry by our friends and it was perfect in every way. From the time we arrived our hosts made us welcome in every way, the bedroom was amazing with a beautiful bathroom and views over the heated pool and breathtaking views for miles around. The breakfasts which Charlotte prepared were sumptous and served on the terrace each morning. We were also very privileged to be invited to have dinner with our hosts on the last night which was exquisitely cooked by Thierry , the Perfect end to a Perfect stay. Thank you both :)

Location
The neighbourhood
Local points of interest from Thierry & Charlotte Landron
- Bergerac has a wonderful, lively, farmers market every Wed & Sat mornings even throughout the winter months, selling seasonal, local produce. Stroll down to the old part to browse around ..museum, art gallery or antique shops.
- April is often warm & sunny & we heat the southfacing pool. Guests are free to use the plancha, pizza oven or BBQ to cook their purchases from the market. There is also a small fridge to keep fresh fruit or drinks in by the pool area.
- Le Manoir is in the wine producing area of Pecharment & Bergerac. We can arrange a winetasting experience for you. We are also in the heart of the strawberry region, Vergt & this is also walnut country.
- Fill a basket with walnuts to take home from October to December. They are all over the property & it's a good excuse to meader on the country trails in search of them. Reserve a massage in your room by our qualified masseuse ...a wonderful treat.
- Although spring & summer are ideal periods to come here, winter is also a magical time. Choose from a selection of books & enjoy the log fire with hot chocolate & home made cakes or scones after a brisk country walk.
- Learn how to achieve the French country furniture look by taking a daily or two day painted furniture course at Le Manoir. You may find a treasure to paint in one of the 'Brocantes' held regularly in local villages or find something from our workshop.

Introducing
Thierry & Charlotte Landron
Charlotte and Thierry, welcoming and charming, sold their food business in Lille and upped sticks to rural Aquitaine. Thierry is the man in the kitchen, passionate about local food and wine, and Charlotte has embraced her role as hostess. She also holds courses on decorating porcelain. They welcome their guests with apéros on the terrace, and love to share their local knowledge.
We enjoyed three days at the manoir. Our spacious room Ébène overlooked the garden and had a very comfortable four poster bed. Charlotte and Thierry are great hosts who have a beautiful home surrounded by extensive well maintained grounds. Thierry cooked us a delicious meal one evening with fresh fish from the local market. Manoir de Beauregard is certainly a special place to stay.
