The Experience

Choose between the Winery, for six, with its Scandinavian feel; the adjacent Loft apartment, with a huge upstairs loft room and the wheelchair-accessible Camelia bedroom downstairs. The Manor House apartment, in the main building is a fun space with three mezzanine floors, sleeping four under the eaves.

Talk to charming Rachel about group bookings and special events; she welcomes everyone to the main house for splendid buffet breakfasts including Bayonne ham and smoked trout, and dinners of classic dishes like Agneau aux Pruneaux and Piperade with vegetables from their own garden, Jurançon white wines and Bordeaux reds.

Walks from the house may lead to wine-tastings or Jurançon market; cycle into the foothills of the Pyrenees. Golfers have a good course only 10-minutes’ away, Pau has excellent restaurants and the château of Henri IV’s birth to visit.

Introducing

Rachel Péloquin & Xavier Micol

Rachel's parents André and Ann fell in love with Clos Mirabel in 2004 and now she and her husband Xavier continue the family tradition of warmly welcoming guests to their elegant property. They speak good English, are connoisseurs of local wines and vineyards, and with young children of their own they can recommend restaurants and outings in their much-loved region for all ages.
