Gîte au Manoir du Plessis-Quinquis

We have stayed in many gites in France over the last 30 years and this is one of the best. Superb hosts who were always available with recommendations for places to visit, restaurants they could book for us etc but never intrusive. The gite was beautifully and tastefully furnished and extremely well equipped both in terms of crockery, dishwasher, washing machine but also carefully sourced and detailed literature about the area. A number of sitting out areas in beautiful gardens as well. We hope to be back.

Our stay at the gite au Manoir du Plessis Quinquis in late Aug /early Sept exceeded expectations in every way. Our hosts Eric and Olivier were delightful and could not do enough for us. We knew we were going to fall in love with Edmond the dog, and we did, big time, but we also fell in love with the whole setting and the wonderful garden, still evolving. The cottage was extremely comfortable, beautifully furnished throughout, with bold colour and attractive objects d’art. Their recommendations for cultural, gastronomic and scenic visits were much appreciated by us and our ten days passed by in a flash. We would thoroughly recommend the ‘Manoir’ in this tiny hamlet to anyone who appreciates serenity and comfort.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at The Plessis-Quinquis Manor House. Eric and Olivier were very helpful and friendly assisting us as required. The main garden was beautiful; we had our own private area too. The beautifully decorated gite was located in a very peaceful area; the shower worked perfectly and the beds were very comfortable. The surrounding area offered wonderful beaches; we had the opportunity to sample the local oysters. We would recommend staying at this comfortable gite.

I spent a lovely week here with my mum. We were only booked in for 6 nights but enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. The gîte is very comfortable and the garden, created by Olivier, provides a beautiful setting. Eric and Olivier were friendly and helpful hosts which added to the enjoyment of our stay. There’s a lot do do in the area and a week wasn’t long enough. We highly recommend staying here.
