The Experience
A winding country road leads you to this 18th-century farmhouse, surrounded by lawns and meadows. Inside, antique finds and contemporary artwork give the place a quirky charm. The comfortable sitting room has a huge fireplace and there’s an easy flow into the dining and kitchen spaces. A downstairs bedroom with en suite shower has doors opening straight onto the garden.
Upstairs, two double bedrooms form a suite with a small shared shower room. There’s a lovely beamed salon-library with original artwork, books and back-to-back squishy sofas. Bathrooms are unfussy, Mediterranean-style. A huge glazed barn has been converted to another living space with a long dining table and views to the garden. Kids can tumble on the trampoline outside.
Breakfasts are a feast of organic goodies: artisan bread, honey, jam, yoghurt, fresh apple juice and eggs. Book in advance for Oriane’s three-course seasonal dinners made with local produce.

Le Perche is a very interesting area, fielded with cultural gastronomical and adorable aspects. Oriane's house is the perfect place to stay while discovering this part of France she knows deeply. She will welcome you in the most delightful way. The house is not only charming and confortable. It host as well a massive library where you can explore Art, littérature, philosophy or she can offer you to join her for a yoga session, that says the wonderful spirit of the place.

Definitely worth a visit, Manoir de Courboyer (5km) is a late 15th-century Percheron manor with historic architecture, elegant interiors and lovely formal gardens.

We were warmly welcomed to this lovely house by the owner. Everything is arranged with taste and refinement. We enjoyed modern comfort alongside the charm or the old. The bucolic surroundings of the Normandy countryside add to the pleasure of the stay. Bertrand & Christine
