The Experience

Set within one of the town’s grandest Belle Époque palaces built at the turn of the twentieth century for the most fabulous of European aristocrats, this two-bedroom apartment has been restored with a designer’s eye and no expense spared.

Find oak parquet floors, four-metre ceilings, and a custom kitchen with soft pink-beige cabinetry, a Nespresso coffee machine and sparkling water on tap.

Wide French doors open from the airy sitting room onto a south-facing terrace with amazing views. A large table under a lemon yellow awning seats six – the perfect spot for long, lingering dinners. The two double bedrooms sit either side of the living space, both with air conditioning. One, behind a soundproofed sliding door, has a dressing area and an en suite with a large bath. The other looks onto a quiet courtyard and has a bathroom with an excellent shower.

Reviews

The stylish apartment has an oak parquet floor, high-tech (but user-friendly) fixtures and is a real treat to stay in with a lemon glow and wonderful views over Menton and the Med. You don't need a car - it's a five-minute walk to the station and feels a real privilege to stay in this turn-of-the century hillside palace, once occupied by European royalty.
