The Experience
You’re in an elegant part of town. The florist below is like an art gallery and shoppers get their fix nearby. No need to worry about noise though; the apartments are in a historic Liberty style building in a leafy residential area. Both have high ceilings and period details, beds are good, the linen is first-rate, and – a rarity for Italy – towels are fluffy.
Casa Broggi, on the first floor, has a homely feel with a mix of antique pieces and paintings, and a sparkling green mosaic bathroom. The kitchen (with hob but no oven) is great for the basics. Little Broggi, on the third floor, is bright, cheery, and ideal for couples or friends. Many of the furnishings in the colour-themed rooms have a story to tell; the kitchens have all you need and Jane leaves a welcome hamper of local goodies.
Stroll to a tree-lined park, have an aperitivo at GUD (best to book), eat wonderful Milanese food at a huge choice of restaurants.

We spent 4 lovely days in Milan at the Casa Broggi. So comfortable, well-equipped and conveniently located. Our host Jane could not have been more helpful and generous. She gave us all the information we needed for our stay in 2024, and was tremendously generous when we had to cancel our originally planned trip in 2020 because of the Covid pandemic. If we are lucky enough to return to Milan, we'll happily go back to Casa Broggi.

A jewel in Milan! Very tastefully (and well-equipped) apartment close to where we wanted to be, with most of the key attractions in walking distance. Everything was seamless: from the easy booking process, the meeting at the apartment, the thoughtful touches such as a welcome goody basket, to the check out. Jane is an amazing hostess and we hope to be back soon!

Una casa molto bella If we were to have a second home in Milan, we would put it where Little Brogie is and want it to work like Little Brogie works. This beautiful home away from home has everything you could need and is superbly connected to the city. Jane met us at the door after a long, hot train journey and made us feel at ease and enthused about the apartment and the area. Great communication before and during our stay made the whole experience feel relaxed and positive. The apartment is well equipped allowing us to easily host dinner for six without feeling like we needed more space.

Step out onto the residential street and you're right into the action. Cafés, restaurants, galleries, museums, churches and history can all be reached on foot. Café Fabrique is almost next door and has a lovely courtyard garden from which you can see where you're staying. The famous pizza restaurant, Piccola Ischia can offer a table or a takeaway. Introducing
Jane Wilson
Jane and her husband Corrado live in the building and are on hand to help if you need them. They absolutely love meeting people from all over the world and folk tell Jane that she knows Milan better than any Milanese!
Travelling to Milan in March is highly recommendable and staying in Little Broggi even more so. The apartment is on the third floor (yes, there is a lift) of a well looked after town house. Jane and her husband live just across on the same floor. Jane is a wonderful host, answering any questions you may text her within five minutes. Absolutely amazing. There is a hamper full of Italian goodies awaiting you. And there is, really conveniently, a little shop just across the road. The metro is within short walking distance. Should we visit Milan again, we'll certainly choose Little Broggi.
