The Experience

Come to be thoroughly pampered at this farmhouse with boutique leanings – the perfect blend between natural local materials and interior comforts. Float between the all-weather veranda where meals are served and a lounge corner with soft seating and wood-burner for chillier days. The lovely suite on the first floor has a panoramic terrace; the ground floor suites have their own patios overlooking the vineyards.

Breakfast is a generous helping of fresh breads and pastries, yogurt, a myriad of delicious local cheeses, hams and prosciutto. Gaze over the vineyards while you decide what to do that day. Wander the landscaped grounds, swim in the pool, head off for long walks in the gently undulating countryside or simply laze in the spa.

Enjoy the Veranda restaurant, with each seasonal dish conjured from the best local vegetables, fruits, livestock and game. Visit the winery on the farm for tastings and tours – you’re in the heart of Morro D’Alba country. Truffle hunting and olive oil tasting can also be arranged during the autumnn.

Location

The neighbourhood

You're near the historic villages of San Marcello and Morro d'Alba, 20km from the coast and immersed in mesmerising scenery. Within a 40km drive you can be on the most scenic point of the Adriatic coastline The Conero with the Natural Park full of coves and beaches and 15 hiking trails through woods and hills. Visit the stunning natural beach Spiaggia Mezzavalle, only reached via a steep path or by boat.

Local points of interest from

  • Jesi (12 Km): Its original center is still surrounded by walls. These walls are the result of a restoration from the 1400 of bastions built in the 1300 over Roman ruins. In its historical heart we can admire Palazzo della Signoria and Palazzo Pianetti.
  • Senigallia (21 Km): It is not only a “velvet beach” and an important seaside location overlooked by the “Rotonda sul mare” (“roundabout by the sea” a famous Italian song), but it is also the home of famous monuments such as Rocca Roverasca, Foro Annonario, the Ercolani Porches.
  • Corinaldo (24 km) It is home to well-preserved 14th-century walls, with little dioramas inside. In 2007 it was voted "Italy's prettiest village" by the association I borghi più belli d'Italia.
  • Loreto (51 Km): From Jesi, crossing Filottrano and Osimo (make sure you do not miss the Romanesque Duomo) you can reach what has been defined the Italian Lourdes, showing an architectural structure that was developed in the second half of the XV Century.
  • Fano (54 km): Fanum (in Latin) that was taken over by Julius Cesar after crossing the Rubicone is today a fishing harbor and a seaside location. It still holds symbols of its history: from Augustus Arch to Palazzo Malatesta, to the Arche Malatestiane.
  • Urbino (98 Km): the “ideal city”. It was built in the middle of the 1400 by Federico di Montefeltro to become and art capital and be able to compete against Florence, Venice and Rome. It cannot be summarized in a few lines, it simply must be visited.
