Generosity. This is the word to describe Alice and Gavin’s welcoming spirit. Generous amounts of kindness. Generous amounts of food (the ragu will stick with us forever). Generous amounts of good advice for exploring. We had a lovely dinner with the family including Alice’s lovely Mum. The architectural design of the refurbished stone buildings is superb. We had an absolutely fabulous time. Thank you so much.

You can see the photos of the stunning views from this incredible location, the charming apartments, and the beautiful infinity pool. What you can’t see is Alice and Gavin’s boundless hospitality, their generosity with their deep insights about exploring the area, and the absolute tranquility of sitting on any of the terraces with a glass of wine. Their lovely children also warmly welcomed our 4 year old, who immediately felt at home. We can’t wait to return.

Ca' Valenzano. Absolutely heavenly. We visited for a third time in November 2024 and got to love it all over again. Alice and Gavin are extremely kind and obliging and it's where we pull a circuit breaker, relax, unwind, put the fire on (November) enjoy Alice's fantastic meals, drink great wine, and just absorb the peace and beauty, which in Autumn was stunning. Alice and Gavin are also the most industrious couple and we have seen Ca' Valenzano grow over the years into a beautiful podere. We feel like family there and miss it's availability to us.

Amazing hosts, gorgeous accommodation, breath taking location, jaw dropping infinity pool, top notch food & wine. A truly magical place. We will be back.

This was our 3rd time at Alice and Gavin’s - it gets better each time! As we pulled up to the house in the middle of the night, it felt like returning home. There’s a special kind of magic at Valenzano: from the spectacular views, gorgeous company (pets included) to the delicious food, we adore this place and hope to return every year for as long as as we can!
