The Experience
Golf buggies whisk you along the cypress-lined drive that runs between three honey-stone farmhouses on two hilltops, home to a cluster of suites and two panoramic pools – one shallower and family-friendly, the other deeper and quieter. Interiors are a whisper of soft plaster walls, linen curtains, and green-framed windows with views of vineyards and olive groves. Book one of the Spa Suites and a private steam room or tepidarium comes with it, alongside a swish bathroom to match.
Beyond the gardens, 15 hectares of woodland, wildflowers and undulating lavender keep 40 beehives busy – their honey turns up at breakfast alongside fresh pastries and good coffee. Lunch is bistro-style in the garden, dinner more considered come evening, both are built around whatever is best that day. Staff appear when you need them and vanish when you don’t.
Who cares what time it is when days unspool this way. This is a place for doing very little, very well.
