Menina Colina Guesthouse

This charming property exceeded my expectations. This charming guesthouse is a few stones away from Porto. I was mesmerized from the moment I walked in - the beautifully adorned furniture, the spacious characterful rooms, the delectable copious breakfasts, and the most hospitable staff. I can't wait to return!

We arrived for a three night stay in this beautiful walkable city. Menina Colina is located in the historic centre of Porto with many points of interest close by along with parks, cafes and restaurants. Our stay was outstanding…..initial booking went smoothly.We were welcomed warmly by staff in reception and in the breakfast room. The breakfasts are delicious and substantial! Our room was comfortable, quiet and looked onto the back garden and seating area. We had requested a room that accessed a small kitchen; it was perfect. We shall return..for a longer stay!

A beautiful restored building within easy walking distance of restaurants and the centre of town. The renovation is tasteful, elegant whilst maintaining comfort and ease. The rooms are comfortable well equipped all decorated individually using bold colours. There is a small restaurant where a delicious breakfast is served at your table and a cafe in the lush garden open from 4-8 where you can have tea and cake wine or beer and small plates. The staff couldn't be kinder or more attentive and helpful. A great place to stay at a very reasonable price.

Menina Colina Guesthouse is a gem to be discovered. This unique and magnificently restored house will captivate you with the charm of the glorious past oozing in every corner and the beauty of the walls' and ceilings' deco. The garden is a perfect oasis to unwind after a day of sightseeing the historic Porto and to enjoy a great cup of coffee and a chat with the friendliest team of hosts.
