- Being surrounded by nature, having lovely long walks, visiting wonderful sandy beaches, clambering in and out of the sea
- Staying on a lounger as long as you can bear it then hurling yourself into the natural pool – it's much bigger than most swimming pools and far more refreshing
- Buying fresh fish, bringing it back to cook on the barbecue, opening the wine, perhaps having one last swim
You should know
- Sorry, no dogs. Children are welcome but there isn't anything specifically geared up for them
- The upstairs bedrooms have limited headroom
Quinta Pomar is tranquil and calm, a perfect place to relax and switch off and a platform to explore the wonderful surrounding areas. Tamar has put her heart and soul into this renovation. She has thought of every requirement and added personal touches, and there are many original features.

Our famholiday at Quinta Pomar was a delight! Charming Algarve retreat comfortably fitting our large family across multiple units, each equipped with modern air con and fantastic kitchens. Standout: a natural lake, a refreshing alternative to a pool, we could swim with the frogs. BBQ area was a highlight, for evenings under the stars. A short ferry ride to the beach, we loved the balance of serene countryside vibes and coastal access. The hosts were were wonderfully discreet, ensuring we felt at home while respecting our privacy. Quinta Pomar is a gem, ideal for groups. Can't wait to go back!
