The Manoir

We had a lovely time at the Manoir. The house was just like in the pictures and everyone involved were so kind and helpful! The house was equipped and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The welcome spread of local food and drinks was such a generous touch! The weather wasn’t so great during our stay, but the house was big enough for us all to stay indoors, sit by the fire and just relax without feeling like we were on top of each other. We hired their recommended chef, Momme, for two evenings. His food was divine and he was so kind. We’d love to come back and visit again soon!

A group of us stayed at the Manoir to celebrate my 70th birthday. We had been searching for somewhere that was beautiful, secluded and yet not isolated, easily accessible and perfect for our get together. The Manoir ticked all of these boxes and ensured that we all had an unforgettable holiday with a group of friends. We hired Momme (the local chef) to cook for us – he prepared an exceptional and yet very reasonable feast for us. We highly recommend the villa, the area and, of course, the wonderful chef who happens to live just around the corner. Book The Manoir – you won’t regret it.

Gorgeous house on a quiet hillside with beautiful views in a very unspoilt area of the Eastern Algarve. We were a party of eight adults and three children under three and there was ample room. A lovely combination of quiet spaces and communal living in a well furnished extremely pretty house. Ample outside and inside eating areas and a garden full of fig trees. A great success.

The Manoir is a great place for a big group or family reunion. We had a great time. Super quiet and great pool!

Absolutely stunning villa, 12 of us rented the villa for our friends birthday surprise and it was nothing but a delightful experience from start to finish. Tamar was amazing and helpful when it came to booking it all quickly, Anna was amazing help with getting to the villa and showing us around the villa and getting us settled in. Honestly a magical stay and would recommend to anybody wanting to book a lovely getaway.

The Manoir was a simply amazing place to stay - the house was simply beautiful, just like the pictures but even more fabulous. The pool was a great size which suited our party of 10 (ages 7 - 74!). It is a peaceful haven with views across the valley, plenty of space with loads of lovely places to sit and relax. It was spotlessly clean and each room having its own decor and style. Anna was a great help with expert local knowledge and was on hand for any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay at The Manoir - we all wished we could have stayed longer.

The Manoir was exceptional in a stunning location in the hills - very peaceful and secluded but also very close to the lovely market towns of Sao Bras and Loule. The views from the terrace were spectacular. The housekeeper looked after us with clean towels and fresh flowers and we felt quite spoilt. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature. We loved our time at the Manoir and didn't want to leave. We will definitely try to return over the summer (if it isn't fully booked which I imagine it will be). I cannot recommend highly enough.

A fabulous house in a fabulous setting. Facilities fantastic. People very helpful if we needed anything and great advice about what to see and do in the area. We particularly loved the gardens and views and the different areas to sit in them through the day.

A fun, arty well equipped home to stay in. The arrival package was phenomenal, the quality of the bathroom towels great. Pool towels provided. We had the best holiday!

The house is stunning, with high ceilings and such beautiful decor, every aesthetic detail has been thought through. It’s functional too and very well equipped. There is so much space overall and many different quirky little locations to soak up the view or the ambiance. We often felt like we were in a film! The pool is huge and exactly the right temperature and there are enough shady spots to cool off. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts and so responsive to our needs. We were a family of 10, aged twixt 6-83, so the Manoir’s many spaces, shady spots, good sized pool, washing machine, well provided and spacious kitchen all added up to an extremely pleasant and convenient setting. We loved our stay.

Le Manoir was the venue for a Covid delayed family reunion, bringing together people from Spain, the UK, and the US over a two week period. The room layout was such that teenagers and adults could all find bedrooms to their taste. Dining options were plentiful, both indoors and out, while the kitchen provided another gathering place, as well as having excellent appliances (especially the Aga.) The owners met us on arrival, while Anna and her crew kept the place in shape on their weekly visits and Manuelo dropped off eggs, honey, and other products from the farm. We can’t wait to go back!

We had a lovely time in the Manoir. The pictures do not even capture the beauty of this place. We stayed for one week and actually spend half of our time at the estate, since the inside and ourside areas are wonderfull. The perfeclty equipped kitchen, the lovely pool area, and the beautifully restored house itself made the trip unforgetable. We will definatlly come back. Thanks for having us

Gather the clans and come here. For sunshine, peace and quiet, a full-size pool, dreamy views, lovely walks and shady places to rest. Even in horrid weather you'll feel happy here with a roaring fire going and lots of interesting artwork, good food and much comfort.
