If you want conviviality for two, choose to share your host’s stylish and peaceful top-floor flat, its immaculate blue bedroom and en suite bathroom with a private loo just over the passage. Rosemary will chat about her many-facetted traveller's life, serve breakfast on the pretty balcony or at the walnut table in her relaxing chiaroscuro living room. If you prefer privacy for two to four, choose the modern 3rd-floor apartment in chocolate and fire-red and breakfast at your own table. Rosemary knows a million Parisian things and will point you to the Paris that suits you. You will be well cared for.

  • Award-winning image consultant, Rosemary, can help you to understand your best colours and styles, and even take you on a personalised shopping trip to create your own Parisian style.
  • Surrounded by excellent food of every style from cool wine bars, red & white checked tablecloths, art deco or uber-smart (with self-destructing chocolate sphere deserts), make sure you ask for Rosemary's list of favourites.
  • The best free museum is the Musée de la Vie Romantique, just steps away, and it has a great outdoor café open mid-March to mid-October.
  • Just by St Lazare is the wonderful Jacquemart André museum, a home filled with amazing art and antiques. Their excellent restaurant is open to the public for cakes and lunch.
  • Try the organic market on Saturday mornings at Place de Clichy or the huge local market at Barbès. Direct metro rides will take you to the most famous flea market Puces de Saint Ouen or the more manageable Puces de Vanves.
  • Mobility problems? Wheelchair friendly B&B as no steps to climb and lift to the door. Need to be able to take a few steps to access the toilet and to get onto the balcony. If completely wheel-chair bound, consider '52 Clichy Apartment', it's ideal.

"Rosemary was and still is a delightful hostess. Our morning talks over breakfast were the bright spots of our rainy cold stay in Paris. She was our Mary Poppins, pulling anything we needed from her magic bag. I still haven' t found a 240-120 voltage converter anywhere else, but she was equipped with one. She went out of her way to serve fresh and assorted breads and pastries, tea, yogurt, and jams each morning, with info on how to tell good from bad baked goods. Her guest rooms were a delightful start to our two month European trip."

"A lovely hostess and lovely flat in a great location. Breakfast comprised fresh fruit, breads and pastries from local shops; particularly good on the balcony on sunny mornings. The flat is peaceful and feels very safe. Can’t really think of any way it could be better!"

"Rosemary is a lively and attentive host. She plies you with some of Paris's most delectable patisserie. The apartment has a patio with a southerly aspect, perfect for a sunny afternoon. If you are looking for English hospitality in comfortable surrounds in Paris, look no further. "

"This property is ideally located for exploring Paris. It is incredibly peaceful given it is in such a central location. The most memorable part of my stay was the fascinating discussions over the breakfast/dinner table with the owner, Rosemary. She can provide a unique insight into Parisian life that you won't get in any hotel or indeed I imagine most B&Bs. Rosemary really does welcome you into her home and make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I'd highly recommend this as a place to stay in Paris, whether on business or pleasure. "
