Sun-soaked Jersey is the biggest of the Channel Islands and certainly packs a punch into its nine by five mile speck. Dive down tiny hedge-lined country lanes, walk along flower-bedecked trails and soak up the rugged coastline. Its beaches, framed by castles and WWII fortifications, are enticing, with crystalline waters and soft sand dunes. The buzzy capital, St Helier, offers up a host of restaurants, boutique shops, museums and galleries, and away from town there’s much nature and wildlife to enjoy.
