The North Wing at Trevigue

Trevigue is perfectly located in a very beautiful spot of the Northeastern Cornish coast right beside the South West Coast path. The North Wing in Trevigue is a spacious, beautiful and cosy retreat providing everything we needed. We loved having our breakfast in the morning sun lit living room an enjoyed reading in the setting sunlight in the spacious dormitory. The bed is very comfortable and the tranquility of the place is unbeatable. Gayle and Henry are a very friendly welcoming hosts. They provided us with plenty of useful suggestions for walks and excursions.

A cosy and homely cottage, equipped to a high standard and in a peaceful location. The owners are very welcoming and we enjoyed a delightful break at Trevigue.

Love staying here. It’s a wonderful cosy retreat, with the stunning Cornish coast right at your doorstep. The North Wing is finished to a great standard and has everything you could need and more - lovely touches from the furnishings to the wood burner, from coffee machines to electric blankets, as soon as we step in it feels like a home away from home. The Crockers are very welcoming and great hosts, we always leave looking forward to when we next return.

What a perfect, cosy bolt hole from which to explore the gorgeous, rugged North coast of Cornwall. Trevigue North Wing has everything you need to relax after a day of walking the coast paths - lashings of hot water, comfy bed, kitchen equipped with everything you need, cosy throws and blankets for chilling in front of the wood burner and utter peace and quiet - we slept so well! Lovely hosts who give you complete privacy but are there to help out with anything you might need at the drop of a hat. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Beautiful cottage in a very tranquil setting. Of the nearby beaches, Strangles is by far the most peaceful and best IMO if you don't mind a bit of a slog back up the cliff path. Excellent farm shop nearby in Boscastle. Highly recommended.

Trev cottage review. Absolutely beautiful cottage carved out of proper Cornish spirit, situated on to the dramatic coastline between beautiful picturesque Boscastle and the amazing beach and cove at Crackington Haven. The weather for us was unseasonably bad but this made the cottage even more fun and comforting, light a fire, pull up a board game and listen to the mad wind and rain rolling in from the sea, knowing that the house has been built with all weathers in mind. Gayle and Henry are totally amazing. Highly Recommended

At the risk of having this delightful cottage inundated with visitors, I need to let you into our secret. This little gem is deliciously quiet, save for the birds and wildlife. The accommodation is very comfortable and the owners haven't held back on installing the best of everything. We so loved our time there enjoying the peace and the time to just stand watch the wildflowers swaying in the breeze. Yes, it did rain, but what a pleasure it was to hunker down with our Kindles. The Crockers are the most lovely and inviting hosts. Please don't tell anyone ....

Thank you Gayle & Henry for creating such a lovely holiday home...The cottage is comfortable with numerous sitting areas for unwinding with the TV or without. Lovely powerful shower. Brilliantly equipped kitchen and delicious homemade organic flapjacks waiting for us on arrival. The location couldn't be better. Perched on a stretch of the highest cliffs in Cornwall and only a short walk to a sea view and an amazing, secluded beach. I can't recommend this place enough!

We stayed at Trevigue in the North Wing for a short break. We walked each day from the farm, both on the SW Coast Path & inland. My favourite moment was sitting in front of the wood burner with a good book & a glass of wine after a long day’s walk! The North Wing is tastefully & practically kitted out for a wonderfully comfy stay. It is a home from home! Gayle & Henry were kind & welcoming, as always (we’ve been staying at Trevigue for the past 21 years). We love it here!

The north wing at Trevigue is a treasure. No expense has been spared; there’s a Loaf sofa, ViSpring bed, two smart TVs and no fewer than three coffee makers! Henry and Gayle are organic beef farmers and live in the farmhouse next door but, due to the layout, north wing feels totally private. We loved the remote aspect of Trevigue. It is an easy drive to big beaches at Bude and Widemouth Bay and near the cafes and beach at Crackington Haven and the ‘secret’ Strangles beach. When the weather was less good we enjoyed the comfort of our accommodation which has central heating and a wood burner.

What a wonderful place. Trevigue is clearly a labor of love for Gayle and Henry - they are passionate about the wonderful environmental project of their farm, and are also very skilled and tasteful restorers of a unique historical property. The farm animals really feel like part of the family, and the land is so varied and becoming even more so thanks to the ongoing ecological restoration work that they are carrying out. The setting is singularly stunning, there are some brilliant places to go for food nearby in Crackington Haven (walking distance), and the house itself is a joy.

An amazing place and a superb location. We especially appreciated the warm welcome from Gail and her in-depth knowledge of the locality. The room was excellent and fully met our needs. We highly recommend Trevigue Farm and hope to return soon.

This is a very special place. A wonderful old farmhouse in the most fantastic location, beautifully restored and furnished and the warmest welcome you could imagine. There is a gorgeous lounge where you can relax and unwind, and Gayle welcomed us with delicious, freshly made banana bread. A short stroll down the road takes you to Crackington Haven and a great pub for an evening meal. Would love to return!
