We stayed at Venton Vean between Christmas & New Year. It was an absolutely lovely place, great décor with a nice park across the road, easy access to town and sea front. Breakfast was excellent. I had smoked salmon, poached eggs and they very kindly provided gluten free bread. The service was excellent also. It was the little touches like putting champagne glasses in the room when seeing that we had a bottle of fizz with us, and gluten free cake for me on arrival :) Philippa even insisted on getting up early on New Years Day to cook us breakfast before we left for an early start.
