The Folly is aptly named; it is an adorable hideaway with a quirky beach hut vibe - albeit a large hut. Cosy with a log burner, yet airy and light with views across the tennis court and gardens, catching the evening sun's rays. Sink onto a boat seat outside and sip a glass of something delicious with your loved one, listening to the soothing sounds of the Brook and you will have found heaven.

We have had the most enjoyable time at The Folly, it is a magical little place and, although we were extremely lucky to have gorgeous weather, the place is light-filled, restful and calming. With that said, the facilities provide a wide range of activities to keep you occupied when you’re not exploring the surrounding area which is stunning. Sitting by the babbling brook was a relaxing way to spend a warm lunchtime and breakfast on the balcony watching the gambolling lambs in the field was a treat. Thank you Sheila and Richard for being such friendly and relaxed hosts, we’ll be back!
