Meadow Lodge at Seawardstone

Meadow Lodge was a fabulous place to stay - so wonderfully peaceful. The location was great with so many places to visit within close proximity. A beautiful part of Devon. Mark and Julia are great hosts and made you feel very welcome. They had some great tips for places to visit and restaurants to eat at (The Cott Inn was fabulous). It was also much appreciated that there were essentials like bread, eggs, milk, honey and wine when we arrived! Would highly recommend Meadow Lodge and would definitely return again.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The Lodge was outstanding with many thoughtful touches which were very much appreciated. Total peace and quiet, enjoyed the night skies and the owls. The advice on restaurants etc was spot on with the Cott Inn at Dartington the favourite. We wish you every success with your new venture.

For those planning a short or long break this is a must; seclusion, nature & luxury within a few minutes of the main roads to Totnes, Dartington, Dartmouth, Dartmoor and the Devon coast. For us it was a perfect setting. An idyllic far from the madding crowd retreat. The first evening, sitting on the deck, watching the sun set, we saw two deer playing no more than fifteen feet from the cabin. The silence is wonderful, giving us a time for reflection, especially after the covid years. The cabin itself is full of tasteful detail & we quickly made it our home.
