Meadow Lodge at Seawardstone

Meadow Lodge is a very special place. It is extremely still & quiet yet the nature is very much alive. I spent time in Oct & Nov, the garden was full of fat pheasants & little song birds. The weather varied (it is Devon after all!) & I felt fully immersed in the light and changing colours whilst being snug and cosy inside. It's a wonderful mix of nature and comfort, a place where one can be solitary or easily access lively towns & lively sea. To top it all the hosts, Mark and Julia, are gorgeous! Generous, kind, welcoming and truly lovely people who leave you alone but close at hand if needed.

Had a lovely holiday, forgot what it feels like to be relaxed. The Lodge was even more than we expected it to be. Perfect location for all the sites. Mark was a great host and was very helpful with his food recommendations. We would recommend the Cott Inn . It was so nice we had to go back on our last night. Thank you.

A magical holiday at Meadow Lodge - secluded, romantic with all modern conveniences. Our host Mark provided an exceptional and friendly service throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed our week in south Devon.

What is there not to like about Meadow Lodge. It is simply an oasis, the perfect escape from the modern world. We never grew tired of the music and CD collection. There were more besides if you have a particular request. The whole week has been one we'll remember and already keen to return. It's a 10 from Len! aka Geoff and Nicky Bruce.
