The Old Piggery, Kerswell Farm

We came in June and just couldn't wait to come back. Another recharge for body and soul. Beautiful to see everywhere in a different season. Elaine, Adrian and Ralph are perfect hosts - the apple cake and juice were wonderful. This really is a piece of heaven here in Devon, a five-star holiday.

I can recommend a stay at the Old Piggery without hesitation. The peace and quiet of the location was a delight and the basket of home made and locally sourced produce was very welcome on arrival. Having over 20 acres of grounds to walk around on the doorstep was ideal. The cottage has been wonderfully renovated and equipped and the hosts have thought of everything you’d need. Adrian, Elaine and Ralph, their pet Lurcher, were fantastic hosts who struck the right balance between being on hand if needed but leaving you to enjoy the farm’s amenities if that’s your preference. 10/10.

Highly recommended without hesitation. The Piggery is of a truly exceptional standard. It is cosy in the winter but cool in the summer. The bedding is amazing & feels like pure luxury. The kitchen has obviously been kitted out by someone who knows how to cook and everywhere is extremely clean. The welcome package is beyond expectations with home made bread, scones & nibbles & many other locally produced items. Elaine, Adrian & Ralph are the perfect hosts with the ultimate balance of being on hand if needed but also leaving you to enjoy your holiday and their local knowledge is invaluable.

A big thank you to Elaine, Adrian and Ralph who have made us feel most welcome. From the freshly baked bread, scones and doggy biscuits to the most special, peaceful location. Thank you for such a restful break. The dogs have loved the freedom of the beaches, and we very much appreciate that you allow dogs in your properties. Extremely well-equipped cottage with quality furnishings. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
