Lovely little cottage, the garden is absolutely beautiful.

Lovely cottage, exceptionally well equipped. Stunning garden. Very helpful instructions on use of appliances. Sue is an excellent host. Only issue is road parking which is challenging. Tips for other travellers Great location for visiting gardens, NT properties, beaches etc. lots of brochures in the cottage. Brassica is great for dinner if you’re there at the weekend.

What a wonderful cottage this is - we have loved every minute here. We have had dinner at Brassica and the Ollerod, both of which were excellent. We walked at Branscombe ("Walking the Jurassic Coast" walk 5) which we loved. Also “Dorset and the Jurassic Coast" walk 11 which starts and finishes in Beaminster. A good walk but do it in the direction shown in the guide as that gives the best views as you come back into Beaminster. Golden cap is always glorious. There is so much to do here and we have only scratched the surface. Thank you Sue and Paul for a perfect stay in lovely Beaminster.

Blackbird Cottage seems a much loved little property with thoughtful attention to detail. The layout is neat and attractive, the bedding is of a high quality and luxurious, the towels are thick, the kitchen well equipped and the whole cottage is spotless. It is very well located in beautiful Beaminster which bustles delightfully on Saturday mornings. It is like going back in time. Parking is a slight pain but if there was not a space on the lane we parked near the sport’s field and moved the car when one became available. Everything very well organised.
