Former 17th-century lodge lost down a track in the heart of the New Forest
where ponies saunter by and pigs forage in the woods opposite. Isolated in
seven acres, with fabulous forest and heathland walks from the door, it's
often mobbed in summer, but a real hideaway in winter, with seven
peaceful rooms and a cosy bar with roaring fire to retreat to following an
invigorating ramble.
