The Experience
This swish barn conversion sits in peaceful countryside and you’re close to the Ridgeway National Trail and Uffington White Horse AONB, so walkers, cyclists and nature lovers will be in their element. The open-plan space with vast chunky beams supporting a high ceiling feels light and airy yet cosy. The convivial living, dining and kitchen space is just the ticket for long meals or watching a film by the wood-burner if the weather is grim.
On balmy days you can throw open the wide doors to the west-facing, dog-and-toddler-friendly terrace and garden. Lovely to watch the sun set over the fields from here with a glass of wine in hand and something sizzling on the barbecue, then lighting the fire pit for a spot of stargazing.
Bedrooms (one king size or twin, one double) have feather pillows, deep mattresses, tranquil views and sparkling bathrooms. You’ll find safe bike storage, a useful outdoor tap and generous supplies in the kitchen.

Introducing
Caia Salsbury - Lawson
Adam and Caia took over the property in 2015 – it was previously part of the Compton Beauchamp Estate but had fallen into disrepair. They have painstakingly and sustainably restored it with a biomass boiler, underfloor heating and rainwater irrigation. They are generous spirited and hope guests will enjoy this special slice of English countryside.
