- Visiting the Wiltshire Music Centre with its fabulous programme of international musicians. Once a year there is jazz at Iford Manor and If Opera in the village of Wingfield

Such a beautiful, ancient house and it's very lucky that Claire and Aurelius bought it. They've cleverly introduced essentials like proper wiring and decent heating without taking away any of the lovely details – oak or elm floorboards, delightful curved staircase, elegant sash windows with original glass. It's a triumph, they are gentle hosts and breakfasts will set you up for anything.
