Michael and Charmaine have turned coal dust to diamonds! Maybe
because she's a jeweller? It's certainly a gem of a place, with light and
colour sparkling throughout. Who would ever think sleeping in a coal shed
could be so luxurious. I loved it!

Fabulous place to stay.....beautifully designed, warm, spacious , comfortable beds and roomy en-suite.Very helpful host gave good advice on visits and where to eat. 5 minute walk to York Minster....car left on road outside with parking permit thanks to host. Excellent continental breakfast and availability of tea/coffee making in room.....even fresh milk in room fridge. Definitely recommend!
