Old Parkhill Cottage at Hyrneside

We had a lovely stay at Parkhill Cottage, the perfect end to our Scotland road trip! The pictures don’t prepare you for how lovely the space is, attention to detail in every room, spotlessly clean and great for 6 adults.The Pale Ale and Aipple cider were a lovely treat. Ideal location to head over for a day trip to St Andrew’s and we can’t wait to return to explore more of the Fife coast.

Have just had a wonderful stay at Hyrneside in a gorgeous part of Scotland. Wondered if the cottage would be big enough but it's actually larger than the pictures suggest and the interior finish is ideal. The kids loved the area and there is a strong chance we will return.

From out first enquiry, to our actual stay, Rachel could not do enough for us. The cottage is beautiful! Set in the most stunning scenery. The cottage itself is spacious, light and airy, beautifully decorated, and very luxurious. From the thoughtful welcome hamper to the gorgeous toiletries, every need is catered for. The beds are so comfortable with luxury linens and the best pillows I have every slept on! The kitchen appliances are top of the range, indeed everything about the cottage has been thoughtfully planned to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We will most definitely return!

This stay was simply amazing. Loved the little touches such as the food hamper, heated floors, homemade cider, blankets and super friendly for dogs!! We also loved the pizza oven (we will be buying our own!). Will definitely come back in future & will recommend to friends and family.

Wow! Such a beautiful place to stay. The house has been decorated to the highest standards and is a pleasure to stay in. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area - lovely walks and St Andrew’s is only 25 mins away by car.

Hyrnside is beyond amazing and provides the perfect location for a family get together- everything has been planned carefully by the host- even for our furry friends 10 out of 10! THANK YOU

The house was absolutely stunning as are the views. Beautiful location for rambling too, before returning to cosy up by the log burning stove. The best and would recommend to anyone wanting a restorative 5 star Scottish countryside escape. Super quick to get from Edinburgh too!

Glorious countryside for walkers and cyclists, great birdwatching and wildlife spotting by the river in an SSSI, whisky distillery nearby for tours and tastings, home-produced cider on the farm, golf courses galore and dogs welcome. Everybody will love it here.

Absolutely stunning property - so well kitted out and to the highest standard. We loved it and hope to come back. Waking up to the view each morning was breath-taking!

Great find, the view was unbelievably beautiful! The place is very well equipped, furnished and thoroughly decorated. I feel lucky to have found this place, I enjoyed my stay and recommend it for a large group. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, there’s a pizza oven outside and two fireplaces. Everything is carefully thought out, the boot room, the bathrooms and bedrooms. This is a very special place and Rachel is very helpful.
