The Yetholm Hayloft

I was instantly thrilled when I arrived. A cozy, luxuriously modern cottage with l-o-v-e-l-y little touches throughout. And the perfect oasis to unwind at the end of the day, the loft was heavenly with its roll top bath. The impressive Playlist put together by Steve on the iPod, was all I needed to recharge. The surrounding foothills and Cheviots beyond are stunning! Walks are fabulous wherever you choose. Outdoor seating.... a great little spot too. One week in the Scottish Borders just left me wishing for more. You will absolutely love Steve & Jane.

The Hayloft ticks all our boxes. It has a good location in the Scottish Borders. The conversion is well designed and has been done to a high standard. The cottage is clean, dry, warm and well equipped. The accommodation is lovely and just right for the two of us. The owners are friendly and professional. The welcome pack - with home-made bread - is a real treat. In the cottage, there are details of walks in the surrounding countryside. There are good local amenities. There is a supermarket and other shops in Kelso and Melrose. This was a repeat visit – and I am sure we will be back.

Absolutely perfect retreat, with superb hosts who have thought of everything! If you're thinking about going, stop thinking and just get it booked! We'll definitely be booking again :-)

What a beautiful place to stay. Absolutely everything was catered for and we didn't want for anything. The attention to detail was superb and lots of little touches made it very homely and comfortable. The renovation of the hayloft was first class and it was quality through and through. I have no hesitation in recommending the Hayloft as a place to stay and can honestly say people would not be disappointed. Thanks to Jane and Steve for creating this little gem.
