Glan yr afon

This is a truly memorable place to stay. The situation of this chocolate-box pretty cottage is breathtakingly beautiful, equalled by the thoughtfully restored, designed and decorated interior and the magical, secluded gardens overlooking the stream. There is a spirit of generosity about a stay here, from the handwritten welcome card to the farm-shop supplied goodies, the quality of the bed linen and soaps and all the mod cons you could wish for. We’re already planning our return!

Magical – a beautiful and cosy cottage with a lovely big garden beside a bridge over a stream. Just inland from coastal walks on Cardigan Bay. We were warmly recommended Glan Yr Afon by friends and will pass the favour on. And we hope to be back.

Had the best stay in this beautiful cottage, loads of things to do near by and also just nice to stay in with the fire on and playing games or read a book, would come back again.

The most beautiful place to take time out. The cottage is filled with history but has been brought bang up to date in the most considered way. Top class comfort and style. Plenty to do nearby, but equally lovely to read a book by the fire.

We had an amazing stay at Glan yr Aron. The cottage has been renovated to such a high standard whilst ensuring the building has retained its character. There is everything you need during your stay. Beautiful furnishings and the cottage is so cosy. The garden is beautiful, so relaxing and peaceful. James & Gemma are excellent hosts and made sure our stay was perfect. A lovely welcome pack was left with Welsh treats. Very appreciated. We will definitely be returning. We regularly stay at lots of different holiday cottages and this is one of the best!
