Allt y Bela is a charming medieval farmhouse surrounded by beautiful gardens and babbling brooks set in a peaceful, secluded valley. This exquisite residence is one of a kind with original, time-worn flagstones throughout, chunky ceiling beams, period furnishings, tasteful artwork and a warm welcome. The two bedrooms are vast, with ancient beams and soaring vaulted ceilings; one with a huge fireplace. Both enjoy dual aspect, deep set windows looking onto gentle undulating hills. They are tastefully appointed and have lovely en suite bathrooms. Fabulous farmhouse breakfasts and a warm welcome.

A stunning property set in it's own valley, surrounded by beautifully laid out gardens. There is a true sense of place at Alt y bela. We were welcomed by the hosts to a warm and cherished home. Love to return.

This place is superb - a wonderful, inspiring garden structured with box, beech & hazel - with crab apple blossom & white tulips flowering when we visited - & a vegetable garden beautifully planted & cared for with fennel, broad beans, peas growing up hazel branches, fruit bushes & trees, lettuces,parsley... The house complements the garden - purple wisteria on orange walls made me think of the Mediterranean; inside there are old beams, old rugs, mostly white walls, flowers, tasty breakfasts, tea hamper, sherry. A great place for lovers of gardens, old buildings & good design!
