Author bio: Alice Tate is a travel writer and author. Her book, British Family Escapes, champions getaways across the UK where children aren’t just tolerated but welcomed. Her love of adventure comes from her childhood where summers were spent camping in Europe or being dragged up a rainy mountain in the Lake District.
