Domaine Le Mas

Le Mas is the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in. Perfect for my special birthday celebrations with family. Rupert and Franck were perfect hosts, offering great suggestions for activities and restaurants, even providing a personal taxi service. If you want something extra special book this place.

What a beautiful place! I can't rate it highly enough. Rupert and Franck were wonderful hosts - friendly and accommodating. The house was fully kitted out with everything you might need and the bedrooms and living areas were spacious and comfortable . The outdoor dining area was excellent too and where every mealtime took place. The pool, with its beautiful views of the Dordogne countryside, was fantastic. You really didn't need or want to go anywhere else! Definitely a place to recommend and a family holiday to remember. Family in this case ranging from baby of 9 weeks to grandparents!

Another wonderful week (our fifth spring visit) at Le Mas! The grandkids swam in the pool almost every day, and we had great rambles in the countryside. Rupert and Franck recommended a couple of bastide towns we had not visited, Belves and Villereal, and we happily revisited the peacocks, mazes, and Dordogne river vistas in the hanging gardens of Marqueyssac. As always, a comfortable house with enough space to spread out and have a quiet moment, balanced by the big kitchen / dining / fireplace room as a great place to gather. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We have just come back from the most amazing time at Le Mas - everything exceeded my expectations! Rupert and Franck are the perfect hosts, discreet, but welcoming and always available to answer any questions, or to give advice. The house and facilities are excellent, clean and tastefully furnished, with every detail carefully thought through to ensure that guests have a luxurious and well equipped stay. Everything on the outside equally matched the interior, the beautiful heated pool with parasols and loungers - yes, we swam every day during our stay and it was only April!

When I first saw the video of Le Mas et Le Mazet online it evoked such an emotional reaction in me that I cried. It looked enchanting, beautiful and peaceful and I just had to book. We stayed for a week in October and I am so grateful we did. Everything about the house, location and holiday was just wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for more. Rupert and Franck are on hand for questions/ directions/ recommendations- anything you need really- which puts you completely at ease knowing you are taken care of. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t regret it Xx
